Realism:
Realism was an art form that was an interpretation of a non sugar-coated perspective of everyday life. The style was not actually “realistic” nor did it achieve any classy element. Gustave Courbet and Jean-Francois Millet were two of the leaders of the Realism art movement. (Heilbrunn)
