Cubism:
Cubism is a twentieth century art form that was fathered by Pablo Picasso. It consists of cubes or other “geometric” forms that make up a picture. The form is probably most identifiable as abstract. Many Cubist artists abandoned the long-running concept that art had to reflect something in nature. Fernand Leger and Juan Gris were two other Cubist artists. (Heilbrunn)
