Prehistoric Stone Age:
One of the earliest art forms, Stone Age art is often depicted on cave walls and consist of stick figure drawings of animals, or elongated figures of people. The Stone Age shows some of the first flashes of the human imagination and will of creativity. Obviously, because this art is ancient, it is near impossible to figure out the artist, so it is not known who exactly began this movement, this art often depicts scenes of hunters and gatherers, which would be the everyday activities of people of this age, so it is probable that the everyday person was probably the creator of these works. African art from the Paleolithic Stone age often is found in the form of rock carvings. Mesolithic art would often be in the form of figures or beads made of bone or other natural resources. The Neolithic era brought upon the advent of architectural art and pottery.(Art of the Stone Age)
